Chris, Kris & Chip’s Holiday Jam#2 at Paapu House

Back for its second year, Chris, Kris & Chip’s Holiday Jam returns to Paapu House for another festive, music filled night. This year’s edition keeps things focused and loose, with 2 bands, a jazzy start and a Grateful finish, and a whole lot of jam all night long.
The evening once again features Minntah Haefker, whose visit helped spark the original Holiday Jam and continues to anchor the spirit of the night. A Thai American vocalist raised between Oregon and Thailand, Minntah brings a blend of jazz sensibility, classical training, and soulful improvisation to the stage. She has performed at festivals including the Astoria Music Festival and Cathedral Park Jazz Festival and has shared the stage with internationally recognized groups such as Pink Martini.
The Lineup
The Minntah Sextet: Opening the night is a special sextet built around Minntah’s expressive, ge’nre fluid vocals, blending jazz, soul, blues, and improvisation into a set created specifically for this gathering.
Psycellium Band Closing the night is Psycellium, delivering a deep, jam driven set rooted primarily in Grateful Dead material.
