Chiang Mai Pride 2025 Press Conference

A press conference was held at Pantip Lifestyle Hub to announce details of the Chiang Mai Pride 2025.

Events include:

May 25 Chiang Mai Pride 4pm until 10pm starts at Chiang Mai Buddhist Centre / Putthasathan  (opposite the Governors Residence), parade starts APPROX 5PM  – down the night bazaar then back towards Thapae Road, then finishes at Thapae Gate. There will be various performances and contests until 10pm.

May 27 Chiang Mai Pride Exhibition at Pantip Lifestyle Hub from 12 noon until 4pm featuring ‘Pride in Motion” fashion show, photographic exhibition (which will remain on display thoughout June 2025) and gender talks with selected artists

May 31 Cover Dance Competition at Pla Pluen, Chiang Mai Night Bazaar from 6pm onwards.

Chiang Mai Province opens Pride Month festival season

Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Chiang Mai Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Tourism Authority of Thailand Chiang Mai Office, in collaboration with Asset World Retail (AWC) and civil society networks (NGOs) Chiang Mai Pride organized an event to celebrate Diversity Month with the activity Chiangmai Let’s Pride: Freedom To Love (Freedom of the Rainbow) CHIANGMAI, a creative economic city, a city of life, a society of opportunity, a free, happy and sustainable business, supporting Chiang Mai as a world-class destination for celebration and sustainable tourism.

“Chiangmai Let’s Pride” is the largest celebration of sexual diversity in the North, and is ready to pass this activity on to Bangkok Pride. This year’s Chiangmai Let’s Pride event aims to create awareness of rights and acceptance of sexual diversity by organizing various activities that support the fight for equality and the right to live freely without discrimination.

Chiang Mai Province is the province that opens the Pride Month season. There will be decorations for the city, districts, economy and tourism along both sides of Night Bazaar Road throughout June, including special privileges and discounts at accommodations and hotels. The “Chiangmai Let’s Pride” activity will begin with a parade starting from the ancient house and joining with the civil society network (NGOs) Chiang Mai Pride 2025 at the Chiang Mai Buddhist Center, then moving together to Tha Phae Gate Square on 25 May 2025.

Enjoy celebrating the Pride festival with a variety of activities and the freedom of love throughout the month of June, such as organizing a seminar on projects to enhance understanding of gender diversity, human rights and gender equality, along with the Elderly Pride 2025 contest and drawing to win cash prizes under the concept of Beyond Celebration in collaboration with the Chiang Mai Pride 2025 civil society network (NGOs), opening a Pride Market merchandise selling area throughout the month of June under the name เข้า.
