An Open House was held at the Carpenter Bar & Restaurant, Chotana Road (next to the Bank of Thailand). The Carpenter’s with approx 1000sqm available there is a capacity of 150 – 250 seats and is open daily from 4pm until midnight. A long ‘New York’ style bar with comfortable seating, a dark-wood décor and dim lighting provides a luxurious setting; to enjoy a delicious meal or just has a drink while listening to a live band.   On the second floor there is a large open air space with several alcoves to chill out and relax under a large tree, which has been used to hold several concerts recently. Carpenter Bar & Restaurant offers a large a la carte menu of authentic Thai dishes such as Stir fried crab in curry powder (290 THB), Stir fried pork liver with pepper and garlic,  (220 THB), Spicy salmon salad (280 THB), Salmon fried rice  (260 THB)  to name but four.. Along with the meal there is an extensive range of local and imported beers, spirits and cocktails. The specialty, award winning cocktail is called Udon Kiri (mountain in the north) consisting of Mekong rum, stingless bee honey, perilla seed, black sesame, lime juice and white egg ( 350 THB) The venue is available for private hire with a price range from 350 THB per person upwards.
