CAMT Partnership Networking Wednesday, 17 September 2025 | 09:00–09:15 hrs Nimman Convention Centre, One Nimman, Chiang Mai Chiang Mai University’s College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT) is hosting the “CAMT Partnership Networking” event to strengthen collaboration with its cooperative education partners. The initiative aims to foster close relationships between CAMT and a wide range of public- and private-sector organizations that share a vision for developing talent in technology and digital media. More than 50 leading companies—longstanding supporters of the college—are joining the event to exchange insights, explore opportunities, and lay the groundwork for cultivating a strong future workforce. Asst. Prof. Dr. Worawit Janchai, Dean of CAMT, emphasized the importance of working closely with industry partners.
“In today’s rapidly changing digital world, the challenge for higher education is not only to produce graduates who meet today’s market needs, but to nurture future leaders who will drive and shape tomorrow’s industries. Our vision is to go beyond traditional education by co-designing curricula and workforce development initiatives with industry. We aim to ensure that our graduates possess not only cutting-edge hard skills, but also the soft skills, creativity, and adaptability required to lead innovation. Together, we will prepare professionals who are not merely followers of technology, but creators of sustainable innovation for organizations and for Thailand.”
The event is honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Usanee Khamprakob, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, who will deliver the opening remarks and share her vision on “The Direction of Graduate Development at Chiang Mai University.” Her address underscores the university’s commitment to partnering with leading enterprises to equip students with the competencies required to thrive in the evolving labor market. A special keynote session, “Driving Sustainable Organizations in the Digital Era,” will be delivered by Mr. Sutheeraphan Sakravut, Executive Vice President – Marketing, Siam Commercial Bank. He will share strategies for large organizations to adapt amid rapid technological change, highlighting the importance of innovation, organizational culture, and talent development to foster growth and agility—insights that inspire students and participants alike. The program also features a panel discussion, “Developing Students into Professionals,” with industry representatives: Mr. Thanjate Techananchaichai, Engineering Team Leader, Krungsri Nimble Ms. Phattarawadee Praphansri, Training & Quality Improvement Manager, Shangri-La Chiang Mai Mr. Krisana Wongchantrat, Director of Human Resources, Occupational Health, Safety & Environment, Safran Cabin Lamphun Co., Ltd. Panelists will share perspectives on nurturing students during cooperative education and the qualities employers seek in new graduates. Beyond technical knowledge, competencies such as communication, collaboration, and adaptability are essential for success in today’s competitive digital landscape. This event marks a significant step in CAMT’s ongoing collaboration with industry, reflecting a shared commitment to preparing highly capable graduates who meet the demands of the modern workforce.
