Sharing Thailand-U.S. Experiences: A Path to Cleaner Air and Healthier Communities at the Tarathong Ballroom Centara Riverside Hotel, Chiang Mai.
The workshop, co-hosted by the U.S. Consulate General and USAID’s Mekong for the Future Program, was to bring together key stakeholders from northern Thailand to discuss air quality challenges and best practices for improving air quality in the region. The workshop featured U.S. State Department Air Quality Fellow Evan Bing as well as participants from provincial and municipal governments, Chiang Mai University, the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT), the Chiang Mai Breath Council, and many other organizations. Consul General Lisa Buzenas presided over the opening session.
