Pandit Shriv Kumar Sharma Memorial Concert

A concert by Nilimesh Chakraborty & Arnab Bhattacharya, in memory of Pandit Shriv Kumar Sharma, was held at the Consulate of India Chiang Mai.
Pandit Shriv Kumar Sharma (13 January 1938 – 10 May 2022) was an Indian classical musician and santoor player who is credited with adapting the santoor for Indian classical music.
Celebrated instrumentalists from India, Arnab Bhattacharya on Sarod and Nilimesh Chakraborty on Tabla performed some of Pandit Shriv Kumar Sharma’s most celebrated pieces to the delight of the audience. The acclaimed duo from India would be performing two more concerts in the city: at Villa San Pee Seua on the banks of Ping River on 29 June, before rapping up their tour with rendition of Night Ragas at Boys Blue Bar in Night Bazaar on 30 May 2022.
