Christmas Event Set Menu by L’éléphant

‘Tis the season! It is time to start thinking of our festive season and all the good times ahead. And make sure you don’t end up with nowhere to go because you forgot to make reservations! Here at French restaurant L’elephant, a delicious feast is on offer over a five course meal on the Christmas eve. Price 2,500++ baht per set. Start off how you mean to go on with a welcoming kir royale (champagne with creme de cassis) welcome drink. Then sit down and enjoy a smorgasbord of four one-bite amuse bouches: Pistachio coated foie gras mousse with rhubarb jelly; Goat cheese stuffed date almond and parma ham; salmon gravlax; and grilled shrimp with royal project strawberry salsa. If that doesn’t whet your appetite, then wait for the fresh oysters with champagnes sabayon sauce followed by the jumbo lump crab meat, Hokkaido Hotatem Pacific white shrimp bisque flan in an aromatic river prawn lemongrass broth. You then have a choice of two mains: the pan-seared dover sole and green asparagus in lemon capers butter white wine sauce, or the ultimate venison wellington a sumptuous venison tenderloin, truffle, foie gras & parma ham in puff pastry madeira demi-glace sauce. If you can still manage, the cheese platter will arrive with a great selection of imported cheeses for you to indulge in.
