CityNew – Update! This is the fourth time this news has been released by the Meteorological Department in two days. Yesterday, CityNews received an announcement of possibility of a summer storm between the 18th-21st April, later in the day the provinces affected were updated twice. This morning at 5am we received this latest update.
Summer storm in the north and the north east of Thailand during April 19th – 21th.
Thai Meteorological Department warned there will be summer storms in eastern and central of Thailand and asking people in the following areas to be especially careful; Phitsanulok, Phichit, Uttaradit, Phetchabun, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Yasothon, Roi Et, Si Sa Ket, Surin, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi, Trat, Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri and Saraburi. And there will be cold weather from China cover the north and the north east.
The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation is preparing equipment, tools and vehicles to face the summer storm and ready for 24 hrs assistance.
