CityNews – On 13th January Red Shirts from Chiang Mai and nearby towns gathered at Prajao Kawila Monument and then walked to Thapae Gate and Three Kings Monument to show their support for the upcoming election and protest against the anti-government protesters led by Suthep Thaugsuban.
At 3.30 p.m. Jatuporn Prompan, the main leader of the group; Tassanee Buranupakorn and Bunsong Teriyapirom, applicants in the upcoming election from the Pue Thai Party, led the protesters from the monument to Chiang Mai Stadium where they gave speeches from a stage into the evening.
