CityNews – On 31st October 9 a.m. at Thapae Gate, Chiang Mai Election Commission kicked off an election campaign to encourage people to vote for the new Chiang Mai Mayor on 3rd November. Around 500 boy scouts from 14 schools joined the parade to help promote the campaign.
The campaign hopes to convince people that the election will be honest, transparent, and equitable. The boy scouts symbolize these virtues.
The election commission said it was also a chance for boy scouts to participate in politics and serve the community.
