CityNews – On 23rd December 9.30 a.m. at Chiang Mai Town Hall, members of the Village Headman Group in Chiang Mai paid a visit to the Chiang Mai Governor, Wichian Puttiwinyu, to declare their support for Yingluck Shinawatra and her Pheu Thai Party.
The group also burnt a coffin on the Town Hall lawn, which they said was intended for Suthep Thaugsuban.
The group requested that the protesters leave the streets in Bangkok as the Criminal Court has already issued an arrest warrant for Suthep Thaugsuban on charges of rebellion.
Every political party, said the group, must adhere to the laws democracy and prepare for the election on 2nd February 2014.
