Watertaps Set Up For Songkran

CityNews – Chiang Mai Provincial Waterworks Authority has set up coin operated taps for the Songkran celebrations.

The coin operated taps have been set up at four points around Thapae gate and one at Three Kings Monument.

Sakon Kleunsuntia, engineer of Chiang Mai Provincial Waterworks Authority said that the department has supported Songkran festivities in Chiang Mai, by providing a water terminal that tourists and locals to use throughout the day.

Buoys have been placed in the moat to identify areas of deep water.

Natthachudech Viriyahdilokthum, Duputy Mayor of Chiang Mai, has also visited Warorot Market and Kad Ton Lum Yai where many shops are selling water guns. He confirmed that there was no overpriced water guns on sale and there were no high pressure water guns on sale, which are banned during the festival.
