Residents living near Soi 22 Chotana Road have been getting frustrated at the road condition which, they say, has caused multiple accidents.

CityNews heard from residents of Mae Yuak community in Chang Phuak today about the road conditions which they say is unacceptable. According to residents the rains two to three days ago along with a broken pipe at that time caused flooding on the road which the villagers had to attempt to solve by putting tyres out.

Authorities have apparently attempted to fix the problem following many complaints, but they have been quick fixes which have not solved the problem, said villagers. Lately, authorities put down slates of steel on the road to cover the holes, but residents say that it is even more dangerous and is not a long term solution.

Samoe Panya, 58, a local resident said that he has been helping to find solutions with the tyres but with some holes as deep as half his leg, it is not an acceptable solution and he fears there will be a serious accident at some point.
