CityNews – Two more men, Suchart Saeya (23) and Saensam Saelee (20), were caught with 300,000 amphetamine pills at Ban Klang Wiang in Chiang Rai yesterday, July 7th.

After receiving a tip-off that drug dealers would be transporting illegal substances in a Toyota Yaris, police spotted the car driving around Ban Klang Wiang. Police searched the vehicle and uncovered 300,000 amphetamine pills hidden in bags of dog food. The other vehicle involved in the crime, an Isuzu pickup truck, had escaped from the scene, only to crash into a pole. The driver abandoned the truck and managed to escape.

Suchart and Saensam confessed that the truck driver, Pongsathon, was supposed to pay them 2 million baht for the pills, an upgrade from past drug deliveries where both men were paid 200,000 baht for 30,000 pills.
