Three Robbers Attack Hotel Employee during Early Morning Robbery

CityNews – Three men attacked a hotel staff during an early morning shift robbery.

Today, February 6th around 5am three men invaded the Airport Resident Hotel on Mahidol Road in Hai Ya. The intruders covered their faces with long sleeves shirts. Yodsakorn Deddiewying, 30, a hotel staff who was on the early shift at that time reportedly tried to talk with them but he was grabbed by one of the suspects from behind and another slashed him with a knife leaving him two wounds on the left arm. The suspects reportedly spent about 20 minuets searching for valuables. The victim reported that due to the accent, the suspects are likely not native Thai speakers, but said that they sounded as though they were Tai Yai. They eventually stole 30,000 baht cash and a CCTV server before fleeing the scene by motorcycle.

Police are investigating the case.
