CityNews – The Chiang Mai Provincial Employment Office warns Myanmar employers and employees about a gang that claims to be making immigrant worker name list documents for 3,000 – 7,000 Baht.

In reality, an employer who intends to hire the Myanmar employee must apply for the documents when the offices are open, so beware of suspicious “agents”.

The Chiang Mai Provincial Employment Office has been closed since March 17, 2016. One Stop Service Centre for Visas and Work Permits for Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia in Chiang Rai is currently open, but it will close March 31, 2016. Currently, one cannot receive name list documents in Chiang Mai until the Chiang Mai Provincial Employment Office reopens.
