CityNews – Local authorities visited Pattaya Muang Hod after complaints have been made over pricing.

On March 3rd, military, forest officers and local authorities visited Pattaya Muang Hod, a tourism destination that has been recently opened after a renovation, after there were complaints over pricing. There were several shops that were found guilty. One of the alleged shops is revealed to have charged over 120 baht for a spicy pork soup. The authorities gave a warning to these shops and also stressed that customers be told prices of the meal beforehand, that the menu must have clear pricing and that alcohol is not allowed to be sold to those under 18 years old. According to the report, there will be a further prosecution if the shops do not comply to the warnings.
