Flood warnings have been announced across the north of Thailand, following heavy rains from the category three tropical depression Sinlaku.
Authorities have issued an urgent warning for areas in Sansai where many roads have become impassable, urging citizens to move their valuables to higher ground.
Mae Guang Dam still has a lot of capacity to hold water, and has stopped releasing water as of yesterday. The rains are expected to lessen between the 5th and 7th of August.
