CityNews – On 21st January 10 a.m. at Nakornping Hospital, Public Health Chiang Mai burned down 4,000 kilograms of illegal healthcare products which were worth around 4 million baht.
Dr. Paisarn Thanyawinitkul from Public Health Chiang Mai said that they coordinated with Region 5 Police to check on the manufacturers, the importers and the sellers of illegal drugs in Chiang Mai. They arrested around 10 of them, collecting around 1,000 kilograms of illegal products worth 1 million baht. The Public Health also collected 3,000 kilograms of illegal healthcare products from checkpoints at Chiang Mai Airport which were worth around 3 million baht.
They burned all of the products and are still on the hunt for more.
