Chiang Mai Governor Charoenrit Sagnuansat has appointed deputy governor Komsan Suwannaampa to oversee and test the readiness of various national parks in Chiang Mai in preparation for reopening.

Sri Lanna National Park is now ready to open with (and this is the term used by officials) ‘New normal lifestyle for nature’.
A total of seven national parks will begin to open, some at different paces due to the threat of flash floods at this time and as other plan for various activities and events.

The QueQ application has been developed to allow visitors to register, checking in and out of national parks across the nation, in order to control number of visitors.

The deputy governor oversaw demonstrations for CPR and AED, ensuring all officials are up to date with emergency medical training.
