CityNews – The National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) invites students of any nationality aged 15-19 years old who are interested in astronomy and nature to its 7th NARIT Youth Camp at Doi Inthanon on 11th – 13th December 2013 and 2nd – 4th April 2014.
Students will see the biggest telescope in Southeast Asia and practice how to use telescopes to look for more than 100 objects in the sky. They will view the Milky Way from Thailand’s highest spot wrapped in a cool breeze. They will also enjoy bushwalking, and observing plants in the forest.
This camp is free.
Application opens now until 20th November for the first camp, and now until 7th March for the second camp.
