CityNews – The second of two One Stop Services for foreign workers (Myanmar, Laos and Cambodians) is now ready to open in Chiang Mai.
The cabinet agreed to set up One Stop Service health check-up centres for foreign workers (Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia) all over Thailand. The service will be available for 120 days, having kicked off in Fang on the 1st April and will end on the 29th July, 2016. Services will include providing health insurance, creating health record files for future use as well as providing medical documents for the application of work permits.
The Fang centre was set up in April at the Fang Shrine, and Chiang Mai city centre opened this week at the Quality Improvement Building, Centre for Northern Agriculture Product, Chang Peuk Sub-district.
The government asks all employers who employ workers from these countries to come and register, children of employees under the age of 18 can also register.
