CityNews – 21st October 2019, following complaints, municipal officers removed the shelter of a homeless man,

Photos of a homeless man sitting in a shelter on the roadside next to Ton Payom market intersection which went around social media, caused many people to be concerned for the man’s safety as he was sheltering next to a very busy intersection. Officers were urged to solve this problem.

The latest news revealed that after the officers visited the man’s shelter, they asked him to pack his belongings and move elsewhere. The man co-operated well with dismantling his shelter and moved away to another place.  Officials insisted to the media that their actions followed people’s request and that there was no abuse nor use of force involved.

There is no news of where he has moved to.
