CityNews – A Hmong community who live in Doi Inthanon donate 10 tonnes of fruit, vegetables and flowers for the royal cremation.
The donation was made to the Royal Agricultural Station on Doi Inthanon along with a small donation of money gathered by the Hmong people from Ban Khun Klang and Ban Khun Wang.
The headman from Ban Khun Klang said that even though the donation is small compared to what the King had done for the people, he was glad to be part of this historical moment and the Hmong people will always remember him.
His Majesty the late King Rama IX established The Royal Agricultural Station Inthanon in 1974 turning the opium fields found on the mountain into a research and development centre for winter plants.
