Help Veteran Santa Visit Sick Kids this Xmas!

CityNews – The Veteran of Foreign Wars, Chiang Mai is a group of veterans living in the north of Thailand who have fought in wars around the world. This year Commander Bob will be decked out in full Santa glory and take his sack of presents to visit sick children in various city hospital wards, depending on how many presents they have to hand out. They will start at Suan Dok Hospital on the 21st December, where there are currently 120 children.

The VFW is looking for donations of gender-neutral presents around the 150 baht mark, and would e grateful for ALL of your donations. Please can you either donate to them directly (via PayPal through their web site www.vfw-chiangmai.org, or simply drop by Citylife office and drop off your presents.

Americans, Brits, Australians, Thais, all nationalities, please make that little effort to help a sick child enjoy a Christmas with Santa this year.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars have been doing good deeds in the north of Thailand for many years, often donating winter clothes and blankets to Thai War veterans living high in the mountains. Please support them this year to bring some cheer to the children who have to spend their Christmases in hospital.

If you are donating presents and they are pre-wrapped, please make a note on them as to what age group they are for.
