CityNews – The height restriction in San Sai has been removed from the Chiang Mai City Planning 2019.
The amended City Planning Act B.C. 2558 by the Ministry of the Interior has removed height restrictions of the Chiang Mai City Planning B.C. 2555 which applied in the area near San Sai Hospital from highway 1260 to highway 1001. The amendment also allows some low density residential areas (yellow area) to be used for public utility or public health with no height restrictions. This amendment was reportedly made in accordance to the economic development plan.
