CityNews – Yesterday morning, March 31, Police Region 5 presided over a meeting ‘Happy Chiang Mai Songkran: Welcoming ASEAN’ focusing on reducing the number of road accidents during Songkran Festival.
The meeting was joined by representatives from both private and government sectors to prepare for hosting Songkran Festival.
It was decided that officials will concentrate on the safety of residents by setting up checkpoints and arresting people who break the law.
