Three people filed a report at the Muang police station this afternoon claiming that Pinyalaksa Chalermburanawongs, 49, mother of famous ex Miss World Thailand, ‘Nong Nat’ used their personal connections with them and her daughter’s fame to swindle them out of one million baht each.
According to the alleged victims, the accused invited them to join her in setting up a photography company for the stars, citing her daughter’s connections to the rich and famous, and saying that she needed startup capital.
Promising to return their investment plus a profit, she has, according to the victim, brushed them off time and time again and refused to pay.
Police say that they will investigate the matter.
