Governor Leads Mourning in Chiang Mai

CityNews – Governor of Chiang Mai, Pawin Chamniprasert led a mourning ceremony to pay respect to HM the King by inviting citizens of Chiang Mai to sign a condolence book at the Provincial Hall on the morning of October 16th.
NBT TV covered the event and have made a small film to be disseminated nation-wide of the event.

There will be religious ceremonies held at the following temples over the coming days:
Jet Yod Temple: 19th October
Srisoda Temple: 27th October
Suan Dok Temple: 3rd November
Doi Suthep Temple: 10th November
Padarapirom Temple: 17th November
Chedi Luang Temple: 24th November
Phra Singh Temple: 1st December

Each temple will have its own type of religious ceremony and some will last for several days or more. Times have yet to be announced, and mourners are asked to war a white or black shirt, black tie, black suit or black jacket and a mourning armband. Women are asked to wear all black.
