CityNews – Flash floods in Samoeng, Chiang Mai.
On June 2nd, there was heavy rainfall in Samoeng District in the evening, especially around Huai Nang Rieb in Samoeng Tai where 12 houses were inundated by floods for about 45 minutes, as water rushed downstream from the jungles. No house had serious damage and no persons were injured, though many vegetable patches were reportedly destroyed.
