CityNews – On 20th of November the Department of Special Investigations (DSI), part of the Chiang Mai Police, arrested five Korean nationals for running an online casino.
The five men are Jang Hyungkyu, Lee Panho, Jung Kwanghoon, Han Sunggyu and Seo Minsung who all created a gambling website in Chiang Mai.
The police checked their premises and seized five computers, telephones, Korean ATM cards and other electronic equipment.
The DSI reported that the arrests were made because the group of men illegally opened an online casino, and one of the suspects has an outstanding warrant of arrest in South Korea.
