CityNews – On 2nd December the Region 5 Police announced the arrest of two Sukhothai locals, Anuwat Kan-asa (30) and Teerapong Inrueng (29), who were apprehended with 100,000 amphetamine pills, a Honda motorcycle and a mobile phone.
The police reported that an informant had told them that he was hired to bring drugs from Lampang to Sukhothai. The police and the informant then travelled to Sukhothai and played along with the plan. When the suspects came to pick up the drugs, police made the arrest.
The suspects confessed that they were hired for 30,000 baht by a man who police are still searching for.
