CityNews – September 26, a car and a 10-wheeled truck collided on Chiang Mai – Lampang road in Sarapee area, causing injuries to the two drivers.
Both of the drivers were found stuck in their vehicles by rescue services that took over 30 minutes to rescue them.
They were both sent to hospital.
According to the truck’s driver, Somchai Sankawee, 44, he saw a car driving on the wrong side of the road at high speed. The car then crashed into his truck.
Police have yet to interview the car driver, 31-year-old Satanan Samerchit, as she is currently being treated in hospital.
The police have yet to announce the believed cause of the collision, nor who was in the wrong.
