CityNews – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Chiang Mai University has launched a herbal pharmacy called “Hom Klai” to compete with herb markets after the opening of AEC.
Assistant Professor Sunee Jansakao said that Hom Klai was a big step for the faculty as it will serve as a herbal knowledge centre for the community, and not just an ordinary pharmacy. It aims to promote the use of herbs and products from herbs as well as educate people about them, so they can be reassured of their safety and benefits. This move will also help reduce price of imported medicine.
