CityNews – On 21st October at Chiang Mai University Office, Chiang Mai University together with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Stop Drink Organisation, and IOGT-NTO Movement, organized a seminar concerning alcohol free universities.
The universities attending the alcohol free campaign were Chiang Mai University, Mae Jo University, Rajabaj Chiang Mai University, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Chiang Mai, North Chiang Mai University, Payap University, Far Eastern University, Mae Fa Luang University, Rajabaj Chiang Rai University, Chiang Rai College, Rajabaj Lamapang University, Nation University, Intertech Lampang college, Phayao University, Phrae Community College, and Mae Hong Son Community College.
The universities have formed a network that will campaign against the marketing of alcohol around and inside the universities, alcohol consumption among students, and to watch over alcohol shops around the university.
