The Chamber of Commerce Chiang Mai has announced that it is in negotiations with various financial institutions to ask them to reduce interest and find ways to help alleviate pressure on businesses struggling at this time. The chamber has told CityNews that Chiang Mai has lost around 70 billion baht in revenue since the start of the pandemic.
The chamber has recently distributed 12,500 masks and donated 30,000 to public health volunteers. They also say that they are available to help work as consultants for businesses in liasing with financial institutions.
