CityNews – On 5th May, 9 a.m. at CMU Convention Centre, Ritthipong Techapan, the deputy governor of Chiang Mai with government officers, general consuls, members of the House of Representative, senates, judges, prosecutors, soldiers, police, heads of sub-district, village heads, students and the Chiang Mai public arranged a ceremony on Coronation Day to show respect to the monarchy of Thailand.
The ceremony involved monks chanting, worship, and praise for His Majesty the King who was crowned on 9th June 1946 and had a coronation ceremony on 5th May 1950.
