Phamuang Force, an army unit, say that they have dispatched the cavalry to patrol the borders to ensure illegal immigrants do not enter Thailand.

The cavalry will be patrolling many border areas, especially along Chiang Dao, Fang and Mae Suay’s borders with Myanmar.

Drones are used, along with CCTV cameras and spot checks around the clock. There are also barriers erected to deter entrance.

The force asks the public to keep their eyes and ears out and report any movement along the borders to ensure safety from the pandemic from the neighbouring country.
