CityNews – A sizable air cleaner donated by Khon Kaen province is installed at Tha Pae Gate.
On April 8th, Kraipichit Muang Wong and a team from the Disaster Warning Network of Khonkaen gave an air purifier prototype that can cover the area within a 2 sq. km. The machine is named Yak Khiaw (Green Giant) and uses water to catch the particulate matter. Water droplets the same size as PM 10 and PM 2.5 particles will be sprayed to catch the particulate matter.
The system works similarly to the Jet Venturi Scrubber that has a water filter function and fills the air with positive pressure.
This air cleaner has been installed at Tha Pae Gate.
