Rainmakers Plan to Seed Clouds from March 1st

CityNews – The Royal Rain Department has announced that it getting ready to start seeding the clouds as of the 1st March to encourage rainfall that will help disperse the smoke pollution.

The aim is to generate rain to alleviate the smog as well as to help fill reservoirs around the north. The department announced that it aims to help reduce PM10 levels to the Thai standard of 120 µm/m3. The department expects to work through to the 31st of October.

The department has four aircraft, including one helicopter.
