CityNews – December 22nd, according to Pornthep Charoensuebsakul, head of Doi Inthanon National Park, to prevent and reduce accidents on the roads headed up to and down from Doi Inthanon, ‘Anti-Skid’ paint has been painted on four at-risk stretches of road.
The four spots, which are prone to accidents, include the 33rd kilometre, kilometres 19-23, a curve close to the entrance of Wachiratarn Waterfall, and a steep road close to Doi Inthanon National Park Headquarters.
However, Pornthep added that most of the accidents were due to careless driving and people not following traffic rules.
