Landslides across the North don’t just create challenges to motorists and cut power lines, they are proving to be very dangerous. Today a woman was on her way to a hospital when a rescue van was stopped by a landslide.
Over 200 metres of road were covered in mud along the Muang Khong-Chiang Dao Road. Rescue workers helped to stabilise here by offering first responder treatment before carrying her over the mud to a waiting vehicle. She was delivered without harm to Chiang Dao Hospital.
