Waa Wellness, a new digital platform connecting people with holistic health and wellness experiences, has officially launched in Chiang Mai, with plans to expand to other major tourist destinations across Thailand.

On 24 October 2026, Arinda Buawiratloet, Director of Waa Wellness Co., Ltd., joined Paisan Sukcharoen, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries Chiang Mai Chapter, and Dr. Kobkit Isaracheewawat, Chairman of the Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce, at a press conference introducing Waa Wellness and its vision of connecting holistic wellbeing with local expertise and traditions.

Arinda explained that Waa Wellness was created to make health and wellbeing more accessible, helping people discover and book experiences that suit their individual needs, interests and lifestyles.

Developed in Chiang Mai, the platform draws inspiration from the city’s rich wellness culture and the expertise of local practitioners. From fitness and preventive healthcare to dentistry, beauty treatments and traditional Thai healing practices, Waa Wellness brings together a wide range of services through its website, www.waawellness.net.

The platform features five main wellness categories:

1. Energy – Activities designed to boost physical strength and mobility, including Muay Thai, yoga, Pilates and mobility training.
2. Longevity – Preventive healthcare and services supporting long-term health and wellbeing.
3. Thai Wisdom – Traditional Thai wellness practices, including Lanna herbal compress massage and traditional abdominal steaming treatments.
4. Aesthetic – Beauty, dental care and treatments aimed at enhancing personal confidence.
5. Sleep & Relax – Experiences promoting relaxation, stress relief and better physical and mental wellbeing.

Beyond providing wellness experiences, Waa Wellness also aims to support local entrepreneurs, particularly small and medium-sized businesses that possess specialist knowledge but may face challenges in accessing digital technology and marketing opportunities.

By offering digital tools, storytelling and an online booking platform, Waa Wellness hopes to increase the visibility of local wellness providers while making it easier for users to explore and select services suited to their needs.

Starting in Chiang Mai, the company plans to expand into other tourism destinations across Thailand, highlighting the distinctive wellness traditions and expertise of each region while creating new opportunities for local businesses.

Another key initiative is Waa Alive, a wellness community designed to bring together people who share an interest in healthy living. Through activities, connections and shared experiences, the club aims to encourage people of all ages to embrace wellbeing at their own pace, guided by the belief that vitality and a positive outlook can be enjoyed at every stage of life.

The launch event also featured demonstrations of music therapy and various traditional massage and healing techniques, offering guests a glimpse into the diverse wellness experiences the platform aims to promote.

Through Waa Wellness and Waa Alive, the company hopes to make holistic wellbeing a natural part of everyday life while strengthening connections between individuals, local practitioners and communities.
