Rescue operations continue searching for five people missing after flash floods and mudslides struck Ban Pang Ung in Mae Chaem District. According to the latest report, two additional bodies have been found submerged in mud, raising the death toll to six. The operation is being carried out by a highly trained rescue team, supported by K9 dogs from K9 USAR THAILAND.
Authorities are working immediately to conduct damage assessments and begin restoring roads and homes in the affected areas. Electricity will be provided using a generator, and a royal kitchen will prepare three meals a day to support the disaster victims.
An emergency assistance center has been set up at Ban Pang Ung Health Promoting Hospital. The center is currently accepting donations of essential consumer goods, clothing, food, and beverages.
