The Chiang Mai Traffic Police has announced that it is currently installing numerous smart CCTVs at major intersections and areas along Huay Kaew and Nimmanhaemin Road as well as around the moat.
These smart CCTVs will be able to analyse traffic data, report on helmetless heads, watch out for irresponsible and dangerous driving and record any and all traffic as well as pedestrian infractions.
The aim, a spokesperson from the Chiang Mai Traffic Police said, is for Chiang Mai to become the safest city in ASEAN.
