Toyota Lanna wins third national award

Winning one national award is worth celebrating. Winning three — for the third year in a row — is worth crowing about.

Toyota Lanna, Chiang Mai’s longest-standing Toyota dealership, has just picked up three major accolades from Toyota Motor Thailand: the Best After Sales (TEDAS) Award, the President’s Excellent Award, and the top prize, the Best of the Best Award 2025.

Spend a few minutes talking to the people who run the place and a few themes keep coming up to explain the hat-trick. “The key to maintaining excellence for three consecutive years is the consistency and dedication of every employee,” says Assistant Managing Director Sompoch Linglenglert. Not exactly a revolutionary concept, but apparently quite hard to execute well enough to beat dealerships across the entire country three years running.

Sales Manager Pornsri Rittiwaja puts it simply: her team’s job isn’t just to sell cars, it’s to make people feel genuinely looked after. “True success is not measured solely by sales figures, but by creating memorable experiences that build long-term loyalty.” Marketing Manager Tayakorn Inudom describes the company’s approach as “sitting in the customer’s heart” — understanding what someone actually needs rather than pushing what’s convenient to sell. And behind the scenes, After-Sales Manager Patipon Mojamsin is focused on the less glamorous but arguably more important work of making sure every service visit goes smoothly, with Customer Satisfaction Manager Kannikar Jaima adding that the goal is straightforward: making customers feel “as if they were at home.”

It’s a lot of corporate-sounding language for what essentially boils down to: treat people well, do what you say you’ll do, and don’t cut corners.
With over 30 years in Chiang Mai, Toyota Lanna has clearly figured out that reputation is built one visit at a time — which might explain why the awards keep coming.
