CityNews – Temples around Chiang Mai were full of people on Makha Bhucha Day, making merit and enjoying the national holiday.
Last night, four main temples in Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, and Wat Sri Soda held a Buddhism ceremony together for Makha Bhucha Day.
Thousands of Buddhists in the city dresssed in white robes and took part in a candlelight procession called Wian Tain.
