CityNews – 5th March 2020, social media is becoming outraged over a story of a young Thai woman who returned to Chiang Mai following a trip to Incheon, South Korea who refused to put herself into self-quarantine for the suggested 14-21 days.
This woman was seen on social media the day after she arrived to Chiang Mai from her trip visiting a popular ma-la pork BBQ. She then went on to a popular night club in the city and posted a selfie with the hashtag in Thai #letskillcoronavirus. The social backlash has been so severe that the woman who went by the Facebook name Nanny SweetIce has had to delete her account.
