If you aren’t up on local Chiang Mai social media then you may have missed the fact that Lung Pom Roti, a roti stall along Chang Klan Road which has been open for 35 years, is receiving a lot of netizen love, with daily queues waiting for roti.

Lung Pom, the stall’s owner, is now 63 years old and says that he opens his stall every evening and normally runs out of rotis around 2am.

He says that the reason he thinks his little stall has remained so popular over the decades is because he sources good quality ingredients and puts effort into every bite he serves. As his customers take a queue number and prepare to wait, he urges them to not become impatient and to simply leave if they are in a rush because he refuses to be rushed.

If you fancy lining up for a tasty Lung Pom roti, you wont be much out of pocket as his rotis start at a very sensible 20 baht each.
