A group of farmers from Omkoi District, jointly presented 9 tonnes of tomatoes and 2 tonnes of pumpkins to Phra Khru Ood as an act of merit-making and to support religious and public-benefit missions.
Phra Khru Ood expressed his blessings and said that all the produce would be used for charitable activities and distributed to residents and people in Chiang Mai city so they may use it for cooking and help reduce their cost of living. Anyone wishing to receive some may collect it at the pagoda courtyard of Phra That Chedi Luang at Wat Chedi Luang.
